Lost Ararat Civilizations Documentary
In the heart of eastern Turkey, nestled around Lake Van, are the remains of a potentially sophisticated and spiritually advanced but forgotten civilization known as the Ararat Civilization. With the promise of potentially redefining our understanding of ancient history and humanity’s origins, these ruins may predate established historical epochs.
As the scope of the discoveries grew, it became apparent that these sites contained some of the most important symbols in history, such as the first cross, triptych doorway motif, tree of life, and chalice. Symbols that may have their genesis with the Ararat Civilization.
A documentary capturing the exploration of one of the oldest civilizations in history, one that may rewrite the timeline as we know it. We will be investigating the ancient symbols they left behind in megalithic temple walls and searching for answers for what kind of catastrophe could have led to their disappearance in deep antiquity...
